A new premier flagship store in the Granville entertainment district
VANCOUVER, BC, JULY 28, 2021 – As the pandemic shows signs of receding, Fatburger Canada is gearing up to open a flagship location at the iconic corner of Granville and Georgia Streets in downtown Vancouver this Fall. Located in the historic Vancouver Block building near the intersection, this location represents a milestone of continued growth and opportunity for this well-known premium burger brand in Canada.
“To mark our growth and evolution into the markets of today and the future, we are opening this location with new changes that can provide us significant leverage to improve convenience, speed and value for our customers,” said Frank Di Benedetto, owner of Fatburger Canada and CEO of FDF Brandz, Operator of The Ricky’s Group, Famoso Italian Pizzeria and Humpty’s Diner Restaurants. “Importantly, even though these innovations give us 21st century efficiencies and ease, we continue to be strongly committed in providing exceptional service and making great tasting burgers and food the traditional way.”
Operating in an approximately 2,200 sq-feet space with 18-feet high ceiling, this Fatburger will add new and exciting automations that will increase quality, consistency, and freshness for its customers, including self-order cashless kiosks, a bread oven baking breakfast biscuits and buns on location, and state of the art grilling stations to cook big, juicy, charred-finished burgers that are reminiscent of a great hamburger stand.
Fatburger Granville Street will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, including breakfast sandwiches, burgers, chicken sandwiches, famous wings & tenders, milkshakes and new chef-inspired plant-based bowls and salads. One of Fatburger’s significant selling points is the fact that it uses premium quality ingredients that are freshly prepared and cooked-to-order.
“We simply focus on making fresh and delicious food of higher quality. We use AAA Alberta beef and premium Canadian chicken, and we don’t pre-cook our food or store them in steamers like a lot of other burger brands. Our tenders are hand breaded-from-scratch, and our milkshakes are made with hand-scooped real ice cream topped with real whipped cream. In everything we do, we do it to demonstrate our long-standing tag line of Higher Quality, More Variety and Better Value”, Di Benedetto added.
