MAPLE RIDGE, BC, August 19, 2015– The popular Westgate Centre in West Maple Ridge will soon be home to a new Fatburger restaurant as the iconic burger chain prepares to open its 18thlocation in British Columbia. An early September opening is anticipated.
“We are pleased to bring British Columbia our newest Fatburger that tempts our guests with an ample menu of tasty items at reasonable prices,” said Frank Di Benedetto, CEO, president and owner of the FDF Restaurant Brandz franchise system that includes the Fatburger Canada chain that recently celebrated it 10th anniversary. ““Our formula works,” he said. “We have become a national favourite. Our growth strategy is built on carefully selected sites like Maple Ridge and a commitment to maintaining the quality brand that is Fatburger.”
The Maple Ridge restaurant promises to satisfy each and every appetite with hearty breakfasts, big and juicy hamburgers, delectable chicken sandwiches, gourmet treats, beer, cocktails and much more. Fans of Buffalo’s world-famous wings and tenders can count on getting their fill here, too.
The restaurant is located in a 2,000 square-foot facility and will seat approximately 56 guests and employ more than 25 staff. Westgate Centre is situated at 203rd Ave and Lougheed Highway.
With a nod to the chain’s 1950s beginning in urban Los Angeles when music, television and film performers sought out the tastiest burgers in town, the newest Fatburger restaurant will feature an exciting décor that seamlessly blends mid-century burger joint kitsch with plenty of 21st century cool, including a great sound system and flat screen TVs. But the menu’s the star attraction.
Hankering for wings? Guests may choose from a wide assortment of world-famous wings and tenders tossed in a choice of 13 signature sauce creations, ranging from mild to extra spicy, including tantalizing options like Asian Sesame, Honey Garlic, Coconut Jerk, and the aptly named Death Valley. They can even mix the signature sauces to create their own one-of-a-kind, flavorful wing experience, and enjoy them with salads, fries and other items.
Missed your breakfast this morning? No problem as the all-day breakfast special satisfies just about any appetite with three tasty options in L, XL and XXL portions, and is served daily until 4PM. Each offers two eggs, cooked over easy or scrambled, with home-style hash browns and Texas toast. Order the large entrée and choose from two strips of maple bacon, or two breakfast sausage links, or two fluffy buttermilk pancakes. The XL lets you double up with two of the side order choices, or pick the XL and enjoy all three. Other options include assorted breakfast sandwiches. Wash it all down with orange juice, apple juice or coffee.
The burgers here are made with fresh, never frozen, hand pressed, cooked-to-order AAA Canadian Alberta beef – the highest quality beef of any burger chain in Canada. Fatburgers can be enjoyed with all the usual condiments, plus many inspired choices such as chili, bacon, mushrooms, guacamole, jalapeños, an assortment of cheeses, and even a fried egg.
Fatburger accompaniments include fresh cooked, trans fat-free skin-on fries, yam fries, homemade onion rings and a Caesar salad. Only the freshest produce, including hand-cut lettuce, centre-cut beefsteak tomatoes and fresh-cut onions, qualifies to be served at Fatburger.
For hungrier patrons, there’s a one-half-pound Kingburger, a three-quarter-pound Double Fatburger, and the baddest burger on the block – the Triple Kingburger. This monster of a burger features three patties (a pound and a half) of hand-packed, specially seasoned AAA Alberta beef served on an artisan sesame seed bun with lettuce, deli dill pickles and your choice of four cheeses, plus tomato, onion, and any of our other popular toppings. Looking for a specialty burger? Check out the California, Hawaiian Cheeseburger, Old Style Bacon Cheddar, Backyard BBQ Bacon and the Mushroom Swiss.
Other tasty options include lean sage and rosemary infused Turkeyburgers made exclusively for the chain that are served with real cranberry sauce, Veggieburgers custom-made for Fatburger with real vegetables, plus Cajun Chicken and Chicken Caesar entree salads, snack size greens and more.
